I put clothes out the night before because we walk first thing. Everything I own is generally looser fit, including longer shorts or walking skirts so I don’t flash anyone when picking up his business. Everything must have pockets for treats and poop bags, even my nicer cashmere and alpaca coats in case I take him out after returning from an opening or dinner (though I generally wear the same spring and winter coats for the big walk as cuffs get dirty from the leash).
In winter ( I live in Salt Lake City, so cold), heavy layers must fit into sleeves of walking coat. Gloves have to be the right weight so they are warm enough for the cold but light/flexible enough to handle picking up his business and handling treats.
